Karratha Adventure Sports Dampier Comp is on Saturday, 22 August 2026! Thank you to the team at Karratha Adventure Sports for coming on board as the major sponsor again this year.  Sign on starts: 5:30am to 7:00am 📍 Location: The Palms Recreation Centre. Just pull in and touch base, once your name is ticked off you can be on your way. If you decide you are not going to compete, or decide to call the day before weigh in, please let us know that you are home and safe. 📍 Sign off/ Weigh-in 3pm sharp also at the Palms.  Please note: late sign-offs will be disqualified Registrations Please register by 6pm Friday 21 August via the link. To register You must be a current financial member; be logged in to register; and  both you and your dive buddy must be current members.    Expected Prize Categories Categories are expected to include prizes for: Opens, ladies and mixed pairs; Adreno Rookie;  Junior;  Most meritorious; Largest fish; Mystery weight; Species from a hat x 2; and Largest Rankin cod. This year we are hosting our AGM at the Point Walter Golf Course. RSVP REQUIRED FOR CATERING Date: Saturday 8th August 2026 Time: Meet from 11:00am Location: Point Walter Golf Course (Eagle Room) Honour Ave, Bicton 6157 Catering: Provided. Drink: Purchased over the bar.  We will be announcing winners for: - Club Champions (Male and Female) - Mack1000 Comp - Dhu Comp - Coral Trout Comp - Old Man Blue Cray Comp (Northern and Southern) - Video Comps (Edit, Raw and Judges Choice) We will also be electing the new committee. Many roles are vacant and available for nomination. Your club needs your help, even if it's only in the smallest way. This month we're lucky enough to be hosted by club sponsor, Spear West!
