WAUC February Club Meeting - Talking Sharks
Adreno Ocean Outfitters Perth
18:00 – 20:00
This month we’re doing something a little different, an open club discussion on diving when sharks are in the water. Rather than a formal guest speaker and presentation, this will be an interactive session where members can share: Personal experiences and close calls What worked (and what didn’t) Decision-making in the moment When to exit the water Gear considerations and safety practices With the increase in conversations around shark activity (and a lot of social media attention), this feels like a timely and practical topic for all of us, especially our newer members who may not yet have experienced certain situations. The team at Adreno will also have relevant gear available on the night if you’d like to check anything out or ask questions about equipment options. It would be great to see as many members, old and new, come down and share some stories and experiences. Hope to see you there!  Date: 18 February 2026 Venue: Adreno, 2C / 376 South St, O'Connor Time: 6pm  Grab a free ticket online to help us plan for the number of attendees.
