Rotto Social Trip / Cray Comp Scout 9th September 2023   We thought we would kick off the metro calendar with an easy social trip to Rottnest. A chance to practice your cray catching skills, scout for new ground and catchup for a tall story and a beer after.   This is a low key event with a social meet up at the pub. So get a few boats and people together, have a dive and we’ll meet you at the pub! There is plenty of opportunity for a shore dive at rotto so if you don’t have a boat jump on the ferry for the day.

Welcome to our first event using our new Tidy HQ Database! We are confident we have it working correctly, but please be patient with us if there are any teething issues!   Similar to last year we are staying at the Munday Campground, Augusta.  To reserve your spot please book via this site. It is $60 per person flat fee and this covers the whole weekend including Friday and Saturday night camping and social event entry.  (0-5yo Free, Under 10yo $30). No Refunds.  Spots limited so get in quick. Bookings close Sat 11th March.    This event will be in the new demersal ban period but we will be using the trip to hunt, cook and share some non-demersal species. The scoring and catergories will be released soon but start thinking about where you will hunt the following target species: - Green Lip Abalone - Brown Lip Abalone - Western Rock Lobster - King George Whiting - Flathead - Kingfish The event is proudly supported by TOPO DC Power. They will be providing some bbq foods to share, portable power, fridges, vac sealing machine and Screen for our video entires. Don't forget your go pro's, watching the days footage with a beer was a highlight of last years event.    This is a social event so partners and families are welcome and encouraged to come along and get involved!   Please note:  As this is a social event, we will go ahead with the event even if the weather is unfavorable. If unsafe for diving we will enjoy a weekend away and organize some other social activities. We are not offering refunds. We are not offering partial payment for a one night stay.  Please organise amongst your peers for boat spots. To save space, we need to optimise boat numbers and fill boats where safe. Shore diving is effective in this location so a boat is not required.   Small camping setups like swags and tents are prefered for space but please let us know what your setup is when booking below.  Campground is equipped with power in some locations, water, hot showers, toilets and camp kitchen.  Unfortunately pets are not allowed at this facility.    Any questions please contact Matt: 0477 154 061
